Despite the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has posed, Cultural Survival's 2020 Indigenous Community Media Youth Fellows are hard at work researching, interviewing, recording, editing, broadcasting, and teaching.
The latest issue of our Cultural Survival Quarterly magazine, "Back to Our Roots: Indigenous Food Solutions" has just been published.
Cultural Survival is excited to announce the appointment of three new members to our distinguished board of directors this year. Joining the board are Valine Brown (Haida), Carla Fredericks (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara), and Jannie Staffansson (Saami).

This Inuit-led report illuminates the unique and rich Inuit values and management practices that have successfully safeguarded the Arctic for thousands of years.
September 13, 2020, marks thirteen years since the United Nations General Assembly adopted the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
Indigenous Peoples are heavily represented among migrant farmworkers in the United States, and they are highly impacted by COVID-19, due to the exclusion of undocumented people from most benefits, as well as other structural inequities in access to health and other resources that affect both documented and undocumented people.
