From November 29 until February 28, 2005, the World Bank's Revised Draft Operational
Policy on Indigenous Peoples will be open for public comment. The Revised Draft
has been developed over the past six years with input from indigenous leaders,
civil society organizations, and borrower governments. After the comment period,
the Revised Draft and a summary of the comments will be forwarded to the Bank's
Board of Executive Directors for consideration. The Revised Draft Policy is available
