The World Bank's Grants Facility for Indigenous Peoples is currently accepting project proposals until November 15, 2004. The Grants Facility supports sustainable and culturally accepted development projects that are planned and executed by and for indigenous peoples. Projects supported by the Grants Facility build on indigenous culture, identity, knowledge, natural resources, intellectual property, and human rights. All grants awarded by the Grants Facility must directly benefit indigenous peoples.
