The environmental conference, Benefits Beyond Boundaries, began this week in Durban, Africa, where 120 indigenous speakers and 2,500 environmental experts from around the world are meeting to address the problem of conservation initiatives that infringe on ancestral lands. Indigenous groups are often relocated from their ancestral lands to make way for the establishment of environmental sanctuaries.
