A federal judge has found insufficient evidence to rule that the Washington Redskins trademark is disparaging to Native Americans, allowing the NFL team to keep its name. The lawsuit began in 1992 when seven Native Americans requested that six trademarks with the word ‘Redskins’ be canceled.
