The Save the Peaks Coalition continues to fight for the protection of the San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff, a sacred site to 13 of the area’s tribes. They oppose the Forest Service’s plan to use reclaimed water to make artificial snow and construct new ski lifts, lodge facilities, and parking lots.
