Some Australians want an apology after Prince Harry displayed two of his Aboriginal-inspired paintings recently. His artwork depicts lizards, and used a traditional dot technique, mimicking traditional Aboriginal art. The 15,000 pounds (US $23,900) per painting shows, say critics, how Aboriginal artists have had their culture exploited by non-Aborigines. A spokesperson said the Prince never intended to offend anyone, and the paintings were a product of his admiration for Aboriginal culture.
