A Traveller Law Reform Bill supporting the civil rights of Roma in Britain has recently been presented to Parliament. The bill addresses such issues as discrimination in site provision and lack of state funding for Roma housing. One third of Roma in Britain live in illegal settlements with poor sanitation devices and limited access to water and heat.
