The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has denied the Basque government’s claim against Spain’s Law of Political Parties, which has outlawed Basque political parties in Spain. The Basque government argued that the law denied their human rights, but the court ruled that the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights does not allow for government claims.
