Concord Pacific, a Malaysian logging company, is being blocked from loading a shipment of timber after landowners discovered that the company was attempting to export wood regardless of a court decision to halt logging in the Western province. The landowners are worried that they will not receive compensation for their resources or for environmental reparation if Concord Pacific is allowed to leave.
