The Ukuani Foundation Union (UFU) has implemented their plans to award scholarships to students in the 16 Delta State clans including the Abbi, Obiaruku, Amai, Ogume, Utagba-Uno, Obetim, Umuebu, Onicha-Ukwu-ani, Umutu, Eziokpor, Ezionum, Umu-Ukwata, Akoku, Ebedei, Utagba-Ogbe and Emu. The scholarships are to be awarded to deserving 200 level students in tertiary institutions. Since its creation, the UFU has awarded over 70 scholarships.
