The Kelantan Orang Asli Affairs Department is expecting to receive an increase in financial aid of RM 9 million this year to help the indigenous Orang Asli of Kelantan. The Department plans to develop and expand various programs focusing on education and economic activities. The Orang Asli of Kelantan region are not faring as well economically as other Orang Asli groups in Terengganu and Pahang.
