Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad received two letters of appeal from the Bruno-Manser-Fund during a working visit to Switzerland that was part of a European tour that also included stops in Luxembourg and the Vatican. The letters beseeched the Prime Minister to end violations by logging companies and plantations against the Penan and other indigenous peoples of Sarawak and Malaysia. See Spotlight Article
