Parliament has passed a motion that will provide more classrooms and dormitories in rural areas to allow nomadic children access to free primary schooling. Mr. Ali Wario, who posed the motion, blamed low enrollment and high illiteracy rates on the lack of boarding facilities and inappropriate education policy for pastoralists.
