Five former peace negotiators are being tried for terrorism in the Indonesian province of Aceh. They were present at the peace talks in Tokyo, but when the talks failed they were immediately arrested. The charge against them: trying to separate parts of Indonesia from the rest of the public, armed resistance, and terrorism. If convicted, they could face death sentence.
