Roma and Sinti women in Germany face both ethnic and gender discrimination in areas such as education, employment, and healthcare, according to a report from the European Roma Rights Center and the European Union Monitoring and Advocacy Group. The report, submitted to the U.N. Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, calls for Germany to follow European Union directives by implementing anti-discrimination legislation.
