On May 14th the Carter Foundation in Paris opened their newest exhibition, “Yanomami: the Spirit of the Forest.” This exhibition is designed to increase people’s understanding of the Yanomami and to develop bridges between their traditional culture and the western world, and to show the cross-cultural relevance of the Yanomami worldview. Open in Paris until October 12, the Carter Foundation plans to take the exhibition to Brazil in 2004.
