The European Roma Rights Center submitted a statement entitled “Implementing Roma Rights in Europe” to the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Council of Europe at a meeting last week. In addition to highlighting key concerns facing Roma throughout Europe, the statement introduced recommendations such as the adoption by member states of comprehensive anti-discrimination laws.
