On August 5-9, Cultural Survival and First Peoples Worldwide are hosting another #Proud2BIndigenous week. In celebration of UN International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, on August 9 at 11:00 am EST, join us for an online discussion/webinar on the right to Free, Prior and Informed Consent: “Engaging FPIC: Understanding, Interpretation and Self Determination."

Join us August 9, 2013 at 11AM EST for an online panel discussion, followed by a question and answer period. You can also follow the discussion on Twitter by following the hashtags #FPIC and #P2BI. To honor the day, members of the Proud To Be Indigenous coalition - Cultural Survival, First Peoples Worldwide, International Indian Treaty Council (IITC) - are coming together to talk about a critical right of all Indigenous Peoples - Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC).
