The European Roma Rights Center sent comments this week to the UN Committee on Economic, Social, and Cultural rights on the worsening situation of Romani rights abuses in the Czech Republic, as the nation undergoes review for its compliance to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The ERRC director claims that injurious discrimination has increased against Roma particularly in the areas of housing and education.
