Cultural Survival board member DinahShelton, who currently holds the Manatt/Ahn Professorship inInternational Law at George Washington University Law School, has beennominated by the Obama Administration to serve on the Inter AmericanCommission on Human Rights (where our Ngobe case is still pending). TheIACHR is one of the bodies that compose the inter-American system forthe promotion and protection of human rights. It meets to examineallegations of human rights violations in the Western hemisphere.
