During a tour of the Choco province this week, UNHCR Assistant High Commissioner Kamel Morjane said that the agency would continue to support the more than three-million internally displaced people in the area. Morjane also meet with leaders from indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities who represent about 95 percent of the province’s rural population and have suffered the greatest threats to their livelihood from displacement.
