Beijing released a statement linking indigenous Uyghurs of China to terrorism. China is taking significant actions to find and eliminate any traces of terrorism in Xinjiang shutting down mosques and arresting indigenous Uyghurs believed to have connections to the alleged ‘separatist movement.’ Human Rights activists believe that Beijing is taking illegal actions to implement its campaign against Uyghur population by using religion as the fundamental motivation.
