CHINA: China attempts to save world’s only women language

China is planning to invest 1.08 million dollars in order to save the language of women spoken only by the elders of the indigenous Yao group in Hunan province. The language is believed to be the world’s only women-only language, which is at the edge of extinction. The money to preserve the Yao women language will go towards setting up a protection zone and a museum. See Spotlight Article
