Vintage Energy said they will stand by their plan to construct access roads and a well site for drilling in the Peace – Moberly Tract, a wildlife refuge in the Rene and Boucher Lakes region. The statement came in response to an appeal to terminate the plan by Saulteau and West Moberly First Nations who value this land for its spiritual and cultural significance.
