CANADA: Sacred headdress returned to Alberta tribe

The Marischal Museum at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland returned a sacred headdress to the Blood Tribe of southern Alberta on Monday. The artifact lay idle in a museum storage room for thirty years until a former university student recognized it as the fourth in a set traditionally used by the tribe in a summer sun dance. The tribe is thrilled to posses the lost headdress once again and is expected to thank the museum by offering a collection of material representing their culture for a new exhibit next year.
