Inco Limited has finalized Impacts and Benefits Agreements (IBAs) with the Labrador Inuit Association (LIA) and Innu Nation concerning a nickel-copper-cobalt mining project in Voisey’s Bay. In recent years, the Innu Nation went to the Federal Court of Canada when the government decided that Voisey’s Bay Nickel Company could mine in the region without IBAs.
