Campaign Update – Ecuador: Indigenous people take state to Inter-American Court

In 2003, Global Response launched a campaign to protect the Sarayaku people from oil companies CGC of Argentina and Chevron-Texaco from exploration and development in their territory.  Since then, the community has tenaciously continued the fight to defend their rights and protect their land. See the following articles published by the Center for Justice and International Law on the recent action to bring the state of Ecuador to the Inter-American Court.
