Attorney Glyn Williams will be representing San communities from the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana’s High Court on March 13. In efforts to declare the government unconstitutional in its recent termination of services to CKGR, Williams will present evidence that San communities have been intimidated and coerced into relocating from the reserve. Williams will also argue against government officials’ claims that the presence of San compromises wildlife conservation in the reserve.
