Forest logging on the island of Borneo continues to threaten Penan communities. Recently, a log-carrying truck overturned and fatally wounded three members of the Penan community. The Penan have long been fighting against the logging companies striving to drive them out of their lands and reclaim the culture and traditional subsistence methods, which were put into jeopardy since the loggings began.
