The Queensland Government has allowed three additional Aboriginal communities to create alcohol free zones in their communities. These restrictions are meant to increase quality of life in the area, especially for women and children. This ruling will lead to a total of six such zones; there are nineteen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities that are expected tofollow this path.
