Queensland gas company Origin Energy is anxious to speed up the negotiation process with the state’s Aboriginal groups concerning mining exploration. The negotiations are perceived as costly, and might take up to two years. In the meantime, Aborigines are seeking to make sure that intended mining exploration doesot interfere with their Indigenous Land Use Agreements.
