The Northern Territory government approved the clean up of the Jabiluka mine located in Kakadu National Park. The mining company will restore the site and seal the mine opening in a move to protect the affected area. The restoration agreement comes as the mining company and the Mirrar people finalize their agreement, which only allow future development of the site with the permission of the Mirrar.
