ASIA-PACIFIC: Fourteen countries in Asia and Pacific create indigenous network to exploit traditional medicinal knowledge

The APTMNET (Asia-Pacific Traditional Medicine Network) will link 14 countries to exploit indigenous expertise on traditional medicine, organize training programs, and help market traditional medicines. Herbal drugs have a global market of US$75 billion with China taking the lion’s share at $6 billion.
