Candyce

Candyce Testa (Pequot), Bazaar Events Manager, lives with her community on the Mashantucket Reservation in Connecticut. Forever thankful for the knowledge generously shared by her Elders, Candyce holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree in Cultural Sustainability from Goucher College. For the past two decades, she has dedicated herself to assisting in the revitalization of her Peoples' language and culture. Candyce is thrilled for this opportunity to discover diverse cosmovisions and how they inform the practices of Indigenous artists in nurturing reciprocal relationships with their homelands and waters.
