SCANDINAVIA: Indigenous group denounces lack of funding

The Working Group of Indigenous Peoples, which represents the indigenous Saami, Nenets, and Vepsian peoples, is criticizing the lack of money provided by some Scandinavian states for indigenous programs. The group says the lack of support will lead to the termination of several successful programs that preserve indigenous ways of life, including a summer school for the nomadic Nenets and a Saami cultural center.
