For the first time in more than ten years, Kurdish children will be taught in their native language. Kurdish classes, which ten years ago were only offered in only two schools, are now being provided in 13 schools. The Chairman of the Kurdish Culture Center, Melikshah Shahmurradov, called the initiative an important development and a fundamental right of any people.
