During a press conference in Andhra Pradesh, the Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram, announced that the Union Government is helpless when it comes to the issue of tribal lands stolen by non-tribals. He claimed that the Union Government is incapable of restoring tribal lands found in possession of non-tribals because tribal welfare is the responsibility of state governments.
