Concerns rise over indigenous Maoli language, which is rapidly disappearing in Cook Islands. Maoli language use among school children may drop to less than ten percent in less than a third of a decade. Schools can only do so much to save the indigenous language. It should be a national effort to make Maoli an official language of government.
