Spokesperson for the Cheam First Nation of British Colombia June Quipp vehemently dismissed allegations that the band is stockpiling weapons as racist propaganda spread by competing commercial and sport fishermen in the area. Quipp also spoke out against the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Canadian government for their aggressive enforcement tactics and courtroom discrimination.
