Weyerhauser employees in the Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia, have renounced their employer’s logging practices and formed an alliance with the Haida Nation, which won a court battle in February against the wood products company. The Haida Gwaii, or homeland of the Haidi, is a region rich in timber, marine and other resources. See Spotlight Article
