AUSTRALIA: Life skills to be taught in Yolngu language radio broadcasts

The Aboriginal Resources and Development Services group has created a Yolngu language radio broadcast to teach life skills such as the banking process to non-English speakers in north-east Arnhem Land. Says Richard Trudgen of the development services group, “Once [the sytem] is understood by people and people do appreciate it, everybody will be saying, ‘hey we need this’.”
