CIVICUS, the World Alliance for Citizen Participation, announced it would initiate an open dialogue and act as a neutral mediator between the Bushmen on the Central Kgalagadi Game Reserve and the Debswana mining company surveying the land for diamonds. The talks will take place in mid-March when the Alliance holds its biennial convention in Botswana.
