Western Australia's South-West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council received a grant of almost A$20,000 (US$13,600) to study the role of women in indigenous communities. WA Indigenous Affairs Minister John Kobelke hopes the study will result in programs “tailored to meet with the real needs” of Aboriginal women.
