Maori Council executive chairman Maanu Paul expressed his deep concern that Maori, the native inhabitants of New Zealand, will in 12 years be outnumbered as a minority by the vastly growing immigrant Asian population. Statistics show that Maori make up about 10 percent of the total New Zealand population.
