NAMBIA: President calls for promotion of indigenous language

President Sam Nujoma address to the people of Tsumkwe in former Bushland, stated that indigenous languages should have a more prominent place in the country. Nujoma said that Nama/Damara and San people are unique, that their language should be promoted. He also vowed Afrikaans “will never be taught in our schools” again and that there will be no more whites-only schools.
