Three companies announced two promising diamond finds in Nunavut, the largely Inuit Canadian territory. It is too soon to tell whether it will be economically feasible to develop these finds, but if so, the expansion of the Canadian gemstone industry into Nunavut could have significant economic and cultural effects.
