NUNAVIK: Increased hydroelectric capacity at James Bay

ALSTOM, a multinational energy company, has signed a deal to build three turbines for the James Bay hydroelectric plant in northern Quebec. The company noted in a press release that the project will require an estimated 75,000 hours of work at its Canada Sorel-Tracy Hydro plant. The goal is to have work completed by 2006.
