The United Nations Development Programme announced a successful pilot phase and a plan to start up 50 energy shops in rural and impoverished areas of the country. The shops will sell renewable energy sources, including solar panels and water heaters, and are expected to alleviate harsh conditions of rural peoples and promote their economic and physical security in the future.
