The Mexico Solidarity Network will be sending delegations to Ciudad Juarez and Chiapas to examine the impacts of globalization on women in Mexico and the leading roles women play in movements for economic and social justice. Delegations will visit Ciudad Juarez from July 26-31 and then Chiapas from August 1-7, and are open to all interested groups and individuals. Participants will meet with women organizations working for social and political justice in Ciudad Juarez. In Chiapas, participants will meet with indigenous women’s organizations focused on self-determination, human rights abuses and fair trade.
